    Pretty straightforward AJAX question

    Level 7
I'm looking to have a 3-option menu populate a nearby div with external
      content (from 3 external files).

How do I do this with the least code possible? I've googled it, but the
results that turn up all use different JS to do it, and all seem to do more
      than just load the content.

          Mike,

This is basically what Spry Tabbed Panels is doing. All you'll need to
do is to rearrange your markup so that the "tabs" look like a "menu".

The easy way to get the external content into the panels is use SSIs. If
you want to get fancy, then you can try setting up a Spry data set to
asynchronously load the data to the div as it is displayed.
