the default downloads location is usually in My Documents. Or, use the
search function for Adobe to search out the file that was downloaded.
But as soon as downlaod is done, nothing happens, I try to found the case everywhere and I found nothing
Maybe Vista is just hiding it from you based on your security settings? There's any number of reasons I can think of, but without knowing the exact details of the machine, it's hard to pin down. Did you do a search for the downloaded file?
When I launched a search in my computer, I can not find the downloaded program, but when I try to download it again, it appears in my files but when I try to open it, My computer told me that there was a problem
Did you attempt to save it to a different location? you may exceed the quota for your user files directory and/ or execution protection might prevent you from doing anything with your file. Did you attempt to retrieve the file from the administrator account?
How can i stop execution protection preventing me from doing anything with the file
I'm having the same problem, I think. I downloaded the trial (to my Program Files under Adobe with the rest of my CS3)and I get an error that says:
"A problem was encountered while trying to load the trial period for After Effects..."
It tells me to restart (I tried this), reinstall, or enter a valid serial number.
I have a broblem with rendering and exporting in full resolution. If I want to render my project in full resolution is renders only 4 or 6 seconds.
And if I want to export in full resolution the AE crashes.I have tried with the trial version of CS3 but I have the same problem.
Can we have some more details?
What kind of setup are you using? OS? RAM? CPU's?
What kind of comp are you trying to render? HD? SD?
What kiind of footage are you using in the comp (if any)?
To what codec/format are you trying to render?
Are you working locally, or on a network?
Windows Vista,4GB RAM DD3,Quad 2,4 GHz
I think it is HD
Im not using a footage(for this project)
Im trying to render it in mov and wmv
Im working locally
Try disabling Multiprocessing and OpenGL.
Are you setting your render to be "Work Area Only"?
If so, is your work area set to the point at which your render is failing?
Also, is your render failing, or completing successfully?
Are you getting error messages?
