If I draw a shape and make it 3D in after effects CS3, it will shift slightly to adjust for perspective as you drag it around the screen. This is a great feature, but how can one adjust the vanishing point so that the 3d object is scaling in context with background graphics, etc?
The easiest way would be to turn your "background graphics" layers into 3D layers as well. Then they would also exist in AE's 3D space and react to camera moves. All you need to do is to check the "3D layer" switch.
