No idea. The presentation doesn't load here on my Mac, but I would guess that if there is any animation it is simply some basic keyframe scripts in Flash that trigger events whenever a cue point is entered or exited...
you can actually see the list of demos here
Do you think these guys are streaming flv's? How do you think thy are doing it?
Those are just FLVs being run out of Flash. Outside of cue points (which I don't usually use), we usually do standard scripting.
Steven, when you say standard scripting what do you mean? Im using AE CS3 and Flash CS3 how do I get the same results.
Say if I have the video shot and green screened in After Effects, how d I then get it to activate controls in flash?
Here's my basic workflow:
1) So, you take your green-screen footage and key out the background (through various means) and render out FLVs with an alpha-channeled background
2) Design website in Flash. Through Flash's ActionScript language, load your FLV when and where you want it, into said website.
That's it. Most of the work is in the planning.
Here's one that I worked on recently that is in the middle of being optimized. http://www.austintexas.org/timeline/?currentActivity=3

But: If I had been directing, I'd have asked her to put her hands in her pockets.
Yeah, we had some local celebrities who aren't necessarily used to this type of thing. All in all though, it came out good and the client is really happy.
Holy crap Steven!! This look amazing!! You are truly a master of this craft!
No, no. Just part of a good team. I enjoy occasional ad agency work. Thanks though.
