Maybe my old bcc 4.0 and zaxwerx don't work on an intel machine??
If that's the case, no way will I sell my old g5.
...but then again you can assume that at this point all plugins are updated to intel native versions and at some point, when you have a few bucks, this would provide a way of using them on your new machine...
You can run AE under Rosetta emulation and use non-Intel plugins, but performance will obviously be degraded.
Thanks. Purchased upgrade of BCC (which WAS 2.0!) and downloaded and re-installed zaxwerks. Both work fine. (I LOVE LOVE LOVE this 8 core -- seems as if things render MUCH more than twice as fast than on my old g5 dual) Now to see what I can do about Trapcode.
