    Ads901 Level 1
      Hi All

          Nice job. You should fix these errors, though -

          http://validator.w3.org/check?verbose=1&uri=http%3A%2F%2F92.48.94.26%2F~theinval%2Fprospec tswetenhams.com%2F

          For example -

          <a href=" http://www.theinvaluableprospect.com/" target="_blank"><a
          href=" http://www.theinvaluableprospect.com/" target="_blank"><img
          src="pics/15260-tip-banner.gif" alt="The Invaluable Prospect" width="740"
          height="90"></a>
          (note the redundant <a> tag)

          c1d_dataplanning&buying.html
          (It's a really bad idea to have any punctuation in a file/pathname,
          especially an ampersand)

          I also find your blinky graphic to be a bit much...

            Hello,

            I didn't get to much into it because that flashing, hot pink ad is extremely
            distracting and annoying.
            When I tried to look at any other content on the page, my eyes kept
            returning to the crazy flashing thing that seems to
            just take up all of my peripheral vision.
            It's almost like "I'm the most important thing on this site. Click me! Click
            me NOW! Do it! Do it NOW! Now, damn you!!!!"

            Flashing bells and whistles are considered a turn off to many and it takes
            away from a professional look.
            It is also something many people associate with BS.
            Just think of all the flashing "You're the 1,000,000 visitor to this site!
            Click here to win your free i-pod!!!" banners out there.

            Take care,
            Tim

              Thanks Murray/Tim

              ha ha yeah the banner is too much I agree, won't be the final one I just put it there to visually show where a graphic could go.

                We apparently all agree about the animgif. If you do end up using a more
                subtle one, you might want to keep file size in mind (that one is pretty
                big). The animgif on their site is no better as far as distractions go, but
                even though it is larger in dimensions, it is much smaller in file size.

                I really don't like that color scheme, but those are apparently the client's
                colors.

                Their logo seems to be over processed. It's a .gif, but do I see JPEG
                artifacts? The logo on their site seems clearer. Anyway, see if the company
                can supply you with an EPS or other vector-based logo. Most large companies
                will have one they can send you.

                Are you really happy with the justified text? Just me, but I don't think it
                reads as easy as left-justified.

                All IMHO.
