Holger, color profiles (may) contain a tone curve. This affects the lightness of the image. The purpose of the Camera Matching profiles for Nikon cameras is to match the Nikon color rendering style (a.k.a. Picture Controls). The various Picture Controls involve different tone curves (e.g., Standard is brighter and more contrasty than Neutral).
Is it easy to copy a tone curve from one profile to another? I would love to have a version of your color (Adobe Standard) with my D300 Camera Standard tone curve that I feel is much better for my camera.
Sverre, unfortunately there is not an easy way just to copy the tone curve from one profile to another via the DNG Profile Editor.
OK - thank you for all your help. I must say your new profiles are an excellent addition to LR! Together with local correction and output sharpening this have made LR so much better.
