    Preserving Development History in DNG

A nice feature of Lightroom is that you can store the development history in it, and review any version of edits by just hovering over them. Since they are all XMP edits, it would be natural to store them back in the DNG file, so that we can take it all with the original file if switching from one LR setup to another, or to Aperture or plain ACR/Bridge. Does the current DNG spec provide for history storage, and do the current DNG Converter (4.4.1), Camera Raw, Lightroom and Bridge sync history back into the DNG and allow to see it (at least it LR?)
