1. Re: Error message regarding end action
Joe Bowden Feb 18, 2009 11:35 AM (in response to Soula-55)The error is telling you the end action of the last chapter of your timeline is going to run, and therefore your timeline end action will not run.
Did you mean to have an end action on your last chapter? -
2. Re: Error message regarding end action
Soula-55 Feb 18, 2009 11:51 AM (in response to Soula-55)Thanks jbowden
No, I have no end action on the last chapter, actually there is no last chapter as such, just 2 totally independent timelines, and each consists of one chapter
As I said, 2 timelines one chapter each , two buttons, same end action for both, return to main menu... what can be simpler... Is there anything that I might have done without realizing it, somewhere I might have clicked
The second project though, although totally similar does not give me an error message. -

5. Re: Error message regarding end action
Soula-55 Feb 18, 2009 12:25 PM (in response to Soula-55)I have just re-done the same project, with a different title. I don`t get an error.
Yet, when I look in the original project and the new project, same everything.... the original gives error. What is wrong with it? -

7. Re: Error message regarding end action
Soula-55 Feb 18, 2009 12:41 PM (in response to Soula-55)I am looking but I don`t see any
Actually, each timeline is a single chapter, I don`t have many chapters. -
8. Re: Error message regarding end action
Joe Bowden Feb 18, 2009 12:47 PM (in response to Soula-55)That's a very specific error message (really, it's just a warning). In your original project, select each chapter (there are only two chapters, right?), and then look at Chapter properties in the Properties panel for each one. Is there an end action?
From the text of the error, one or more of your chapters has an end action on it. -
9. Re: Error message regarding end action
Soula-55 Feb 18, 2009 12:56 PM (in response to Soula-55)Looking in the Properties, and having the timeline1 selected, the end action is return to last menu.
I have tried all the possibilities, and I always have an error. If I have it on "not set" then I have an error telling me that the end action is missing -
