1. Re: MISSING - Libray, Styles and Layers
Jeff Bellune Mar 17, 2009 11:39 AM (in response to mikeklar)FWIW, I installed the CS4 Production Premium suite from the DVD discs and the Encore library installed automatically. It was even pre-selected for me in the installation main menu.
Do you have the CS4 discs, or did you download the suite? If you downloaded, there is probably a separate file for the Encore additional content. At least that's how it was in CS3. -
2. Re: MISSING - Libray, Styles and Layers
mikeklar Mar 17, 2009 12:03 PM (in response to mikeklar)Thank you Jeff for your input. The software is of downloaded kind and from day one Encore never loaded the library automatically. Since originally the CS3 library folder was still available and moving it to Encore's folder, I didn't search for CS4's. It became an issue after uninstalling both CS3 and CS4, due to an incompatibility on a Vista x64 system.
The good news ... after searching the unzipped file folders I found "Adobe Encore CS4 Functional Content" located under "Premier Pro Content" folder. In Encore's folder there is a "Setup" application file and it did the trick.
Cheers

mikeklar Apr 1, 2009 6:39 AM (in response to mikeklar)Hi
Sorry for taking so long to reply, been busy with a project that requires getting my head around After Effects.
Assuming you downloaded CS4, unzipped all the downloaded files and hopefully have a similar tree structure as I, you should be able to find the "Setup.exe" under a folder "Premier Pro content > Adobe Encore CS4 Functional Content"
Please let me know if that works for you.
Cheers,
Michael -

Neil Wilkes Apr 7, 2009 10:19 AM (in response to mikeklar)Which makes sense, given that Encore is no longer sold as a standalone product but as a part of Premiere Pro.
