Ruud Blauw Mar 2, 2006 1:09 PM (in response to Mediadude8)Have you tried closing AE before starting Encore? -
2. Re: Out of Memory Message...Urgent
Mediadude8 Mar 2, 2006 1:12 PM (in response to Mediadude8)Everything is closed, which is why it's strange that it shows up in Task Mgr when I go to render or build. Could it be that my motion menus add up to over 1 gig. 1 is 830 mb, another 400mb, etc... How else would I render out of AE if not for uncompressed AVI's...for best quality.
I have 32gb of hard drive space left where its rendering to
UPdate: I turned off 3 out of the 4 motion menus and just left the animated chapter buttons and it still crashed. this time in task mgr, it went up to 455,000 -
3. Re: Out of Memory Message...Urgent
Ruud Blauw Mar 2, 2006 1:56 PM (in response to Mediadude8)The size of the AE exported version isn't really relevant for the size the menus will be on the DVD. To exceed the limit you would have to use at least a total of 15 minutes of motion content.
It seems unlikely that even if your menus exceeded the 1GB limit it would cause Encore to crash. -
4. Re: Out of Memory Message...Urgent
Mediadude8 Mar 2, 2006 2:01 PM (in response to Mediadude8)I was able to just render the chapter motion button menu. the ones that came from AE give me the out of memory message. Now Encore is up to 1.1 gig in task manager. Could it be the huffy codec? although it transcoded fine using 8mb CBR. Why does Encore have to use AE and AELink Server if all has been rendered and transcoded already? I'm in a desperate situation and open to any ideas. Thank you Ruud. jeff -
5. Re: Out of Memory Message...Urgent
Mediadude8 Mar 2, 2006 2:36 PM (in response to Mediadude8)I called tech support and they think the issue is the huffy avi's. going to re-render from AE, I'll post my results here in case it should ever help anyone. -
6. Re: Out of Memory Message...Urgent
Mediadude8 Mar 2, 2006 9:59 PM (in response to Mediadude8)Just to follow up, the issue was the huffy codec, I rerendered as DV and all is fine. Thanks Ruud. -
7. Re: Out of Memory Message...Urgent
Ruud Blauw Mar 3, 2006 4:51 AM (in response to Mediadude8)Congrats! :)
Did Adobe support explain/indicate why using a HuffYUV codec was causing a memory problem? -
8. Re: Out of Memory Message...Urgent
Mediadude8 Mar 3, 2006 7:42 AM (in response to Mediadude8)Thanks...yes they did. the computer is getting bogged down trying to decompress the huffy while trying to compress the mpeg2. It's one of those things where you know it's going to be a problem when you do it...but you do it anyway. It just aged me 2.5 years.
Have you ever gotten runtime errors? I had a few when I would go to resize screens, especially flowchart. -

Ruud Blauw Mar 3, 2006 8:19 AM (in response to Mediadude8)Me, runtime errors with Encore? That would be an impossibility... 8| 8) B) -

12. Re: Out of Memory Message...Urgent
Mediadude8 Mar 3, 2006 8:40 AM (in response to Mediadude8)then how are you using Encore 2? -
13. Re: Out of Memory Message...Urgent
Ruud Blauw Mar 3, 2006 11:14 AM (in response to Mediadude8)Exactly. :) And neither 1.5, nor 1.0 for that matter. -

Mediadude8 Mar 3, 2006 11:42 AM (in response to Mediadude8)Don't know why I thought you were an Encore guru or was it DVD Guru? That's it! -
15. Re: Out of Memory Message...Urgent
(kardelen133) Jun 3, 2008 2:55 AM (in response to Mediadude8)You can install the software without a serial number (referred as the license key on your message). However, the software will run as a 30-day trial only. After that, you'll need a valid serial number to activate and continue using the software.
On your second point, yes, that would be mostly correct. Depending of the type of volume license you friend has, the transfer is complete or it could be partial. In any case, it sounds that it would be problematic.
Have you consider Premiere Elements 4.0? It is not as powerful as Premiere Pro CS3, of course, but it's significantly more affordable and very capable as well. I wish I had a better answer for you. tüp bebek saç ekimi
