1. Re: Menu Ghosted Question
Jeff Bellune Feb 28, 2006 2:20 PM (in response to Mediadude8)I assume you're working in the Flowchart panel?
The "ghosted" version is an alias. There's some info in the help files, but in a nutshell: only the first instance of a project element in the flowchart is displayed at full opacity. All other references to it are aliases.

Mediadude8 Feb 28, 2006 4:29 PM (in response to Mediadude8)Thanks Jeff, I realized that as I was working..but it was too late to edit the post. I actually read every page of the manual, but not with the program in front of me. Thanks again. -
3. Re: Menu Ghosted Question
Jeff Bellune Feb 28, 2006 7:01 PM (in response to Mediadude8)You're welcome, but...I can't believe you read through the manual and didn't have everything memorized! Any author worth his salt could do that! (just kidding)
I've found that the new Adobe Help Center is much better than the old html-based help that earlier versions of Adobe programs had. It's been a very good reference so far.

4. Re: Menu Ghosted Question
Mediadude8 Mar 1, 2006 8:18 AM (in response to Mediadude8)Funny Jeff. I did skim over sections that I thought I could just reference later. I agree about the new help. Had a scare last night with Encore, went to change text on a button and it crashed the program, said out of memory, then I couldn't open the project. I had to go into the source folder and remove the corrupted file, I used brige to view it. Hopefully this will help someone else if the need arises. Thanks.
