Audition 3.0 upgrade price from Soundbooth 1?

I purchased the Creative Suite Master Collection about a month and a half ago, and was severely dissapointed by the downgraded audio "editing" application, aka Soundbooth, included instead of Audition.

I don't know if anyone's suggested this before, but personally I feel Adobe should offer upgrade pricing on the upcoming Audition 3.0 to people who've paid the (relatively high) price for their Creative Suite bundles and received the horribly lacking Soundbooth for their troubles. I'm not sure what line of flawed logic led Adobe to believe sound wasn't an important factor in editing video, but they were mistaken.

Fortunately I've also got Sound Forge 9 and Vegas Pro 8 on my system, both of which are very capable audio editors... but it would be nice to have an additional application that can be integrated into the rest of the Creative Suite applications (also, Audition had 1 or 2 features that Sony hasn't managed to put into Sound Forge yet).

This has been discussed over and over again, with Adobe personnel participation, for the last 10 months (which includes the public beta of Soundbooth). I'm sure if you read through old posts here and on the Adobe Labs web site, things will become clearer to you.

That said, an upgrade path from Sb to Au "sounds" like a reasonable request.

I have seen references to various people complaining about Sb, yeah. It's not that easy to read through these forums, though... the format used is absolutely terrible. Why Adobe can't go with something like vBulletin escapes me... something that's easy to look at and read through; not to mention search.
