In your 'Optimize' panel what do you have your colour set to?

| I've been having a bit of trouble with colours in fireworks. I'm not
| or anything, but the colours in my documents keep changing.
| For example: I'll draw something using #333333, but when I open the file
| the colour will have changed to #383838. Even worse, sometimes a single
| will have split into several different shades.
| I'm a pixel artist, so this is a big problem for me. Any suggestions?
It defaults to Gif WebSnap 128, but this occurs even when I save normally, without exporting.
Have you tried setting it to Adaptive 256 or JPEG?

What format are you saving as?
(And WebSnap 128 shouldn't change #333333 to #383838, since #333333 is in the Web 216 palette and #383838 is not. That makes no sense.)
I'm saving it by going file->save as->save. It autos to .png.
I'm not saving it as a gif, so I don't understand why changing the optimization settings would change anything.
It only happens every now and then, I mostly notice it on files I havn't used for a while; though I don't know if that would make a difference, as I'm doing everything the same way.
And pixlor: yeah, that's what's really weird about it.
*edit: sorry, accidentally posted two*
