    Library Items in Yellow

    MitchDW Level 1
      Hello,

I have a page of html with style sheet code. When I view it in DreamWeaver it appears okay. I wanted to make certain sections template items. One of those items works okay, but the other one (which incorporates some div tags) does not. The page in Design Mode has that template items section colored light yellow (I know it does yellow shading between the begin and end library item tags). I then pushed this html file to the server and it renders fine on browsers, but I am not sure why it appears this way in the design view. It is more of an annoyance than anything, but at the same time I want to make sure that nothing is wrong with my code. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

      thanks,
      mitch

Here is the code. Obviously I did not include the style sheet, but if you paste this in an html file it looks fine. If you paste it in a library item and then add the library item to an html file the items are in yellow.

            thanks,

That's how DW colors Library item code after it has been inserted into a
              parent page. It's quite normal.

This is the entirety of the Library item code, right? It looks fine if
              that's the case.

Yes I expect this in the Code Window, but not in the Design Window. All my other code from templates appears yellow (as expected in code), but is white (normal color) in Design mode. On the same page I have other library itmes that are normal color in Design mode.

                thanks,

Ahh - well, that should not be happening. And I'm not sure what you mean by
'code appears white in Design view' since you should not be seeing code in
                  Design view.

                  > On the same page I have other library itmes that

Now I'm confused. Can you post a link to the page, please?
