    Validator highlighting

Is there any way for a validator (custom or otherwise) to define multiple listeners, i.e., highlight multiple components when the validation fails...? Specifically, I am validating two checkboxes, that at least one of them is checked. If they are both unchecked, I'd like both of them to show the red border and the error message. TIA

I think someone else had a similar question on 9/3, and they got some
responses. I don't have time to look it up or repeat the answer, but you
might be able to find it yourself.

That's not quite the same problem... In that one, the guy was trying to validate from multiple sources... I'm trying to have multiple listeners (which happen to be the same as the sources)... I can get it to validate on both of the checkboxes, but I as far as I know, I can only specify one of them to receive the red/error border... Is there any simple way to override this behaviour so I can get both of them to show the border...?
