    Composite effect in ActionScript(wipeRight-Down)?

    Mariush T.
      Hi,
      I am having a problem with parallel effect:

      The source code:
      <?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8"?>
      <mx:Application xmlns:mx=" http://www.adobe.com/2006/mxml"
      creationComplete="createEffect(event);" layout="absolute">

      <mx:Script>
      <![CDATA[

      // Import effect classes and create effect variables.
      import mx.effects.*;

      private var wipeRight:WipeRight;
      private var wipeDown:WipeDown;
      private var parallel:Parallel;

      private function createEffect(eventObj:Event):void {
      // Create a WipeRight effect.
      wipeRight = new WipeRight(myText);
      wipeRight.duration=750;

      // Create a WipeDown effect.
      wipeDown = new WipeDown(myText);
      wipeDown.duration=750;

      // Initialize a Parallel effect.
      parallel = new Parallel();
      parallel.addChild(wipeRight);
      parallel.addChild(wipeDown);
      }
      ]]>
      </mx:Script>

      <mx:Button click="parallel.end();parallel.play();" x="146" width="54" y="34"/>
      <mx:TextArea id="myText" text="Here is some text." x="208" y="25"/>
      </mx:Application>

      The click event triggers only wipeDown effect. Any thoughts?
