Created frameset w/ three frames. top. left and body. in left i have a title and jpg of a quicktime movie. i linked it to the movie, targeted to the "body." also background color for all three frames is the same. when i preview and click on link, quicktime movie comes up but background color goes away. !?!?!?

Unfortunately, those two facts often go together. Frames will be trouble
for you and for your visitors. Why did you start with them?

To know more about what you might have done, we would need to see your pages
and their code. Can you post a link for us?

thought frames was best way to go. is there a better way to have a qtime movie open within same page?

don't have a link yet. just previewing it.

They are usually the worst way to go.

Embed it on the page itself.
