gkaiseril Apr 6, 2009 10:28 AM (in response to john_usnr)Having multiple Acrobat products on a single system has always been a problem becuase the order of installaiton deteremines which is the default PDF viewer and the user preferences within the application need to be set not to tested and not to reset the preference.
You can have the application you want to have link open in open prior to clicking the link.
You can change the file association used by Windows Explorer and then do not change that selection.

change 'HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\AcroExch.Document.7\shell\Open\command' default value to point to the reader path instead of Acrobat.exe
