Correct, MPEG2DVD. Depending on the length of your movie you have to adjust your settings, but anything under 1 hour is best done with 8 Mbps CBR 1-pass and AC3 audio. For other lengths use a bitrate calculator.
Thanks for your timely reply and help. The total length for this project is 2:22 minutes. Where can I find the bitrate calculator?
Also, there are several sections for this instructional DVD. Should the be exported individually in sections or should I export the
entire 2:22 minute project as a single file.
I'm going to be using Sony's DVD architect for authoring (sorry). I'm familar with it and don't have time to learn Encore right now.
When scaling down, Adobe recomends on the seq preferences to check "max render quality". It will increase encoding time significantly and somewhat imporve the scaling quality.
