    Security Sandbox Violation issue with local site

      Hi Forum

      I can't wrap my head around this one.

      I'm using a local server on my mac. the address is something like this : http://localhost:8888/MYPROJECT and the files sit somewhere in an address like this: /Applications/MAMP/htdocs/MYPROJECT/

      Now when I test the files from the flash environemnt I keep getting this sandbox violation warning. I've done research on it and put the following code in my flash file:

      System.security.allowDomain(" http://localhost:8888");

      and the following crossdomain file in the MAMP/htdocs/MYPROJECT/ folder:
      <?xml version="1.0"?>
      <!DOCTYPE cross-domain-policySYSTEM " http://www.macromedia.com/xml/dtds/cross-domain-policy.dtd">
      <cross-domain-policy>
      <allow-access-from domain="*" />
      <allow-access-from domain"file:///Macintosh%20HD/Applications/MAMP/htdocs/" />
      <allow-access-from domain=" http://localhost:8888/" />
      </cross-domain-policy>

      But I keep getting the Sandbox warning:
      *** Security Sandbox Violation ***
      SecurityDomain ' http://localhost:8888/MYPROJECT/getPreloadSize.php' tried to access incompatible context 'file:///Macintosh%20HD/Applications/MAMP/htdocs/MYPROJECT/preloader.swf'

      Any ideas?

      Thank you for any advise or insight.

      Best,

      stephank
