Hey, its me again.
I'm trying to load two clips:
ldr = new Loader();
var req:URLRequest = new URLRequest("SWF/Clip1.swf");
var ldrContext:LoaderContext = new LoaderContext(false, ApplicationDomain.currentDomain);
ldd = new Loader();
var ret:URLRequest = new URLRequest("SWF/Clip2.swf");
var lddContent:LoaderContext = new LoaderContext(false, ApplicationDomain.currentDomain);
The problem is that, actionscript on the frames of Clip1 are being mixed up with actionscript on the frames Clip2, causing "null method/reference error"
actionscript will not be "mixed up". if you have identically named but different classes in the two swfs, that will be an issue.
So movieclips within the SWF's with the same name would be problematic as well?
If so, would you happen to know any way to get around it?
no, instance names/variables with the same names in different swfs would not conflict. just class names if class names were the same in the loaded swfs and you wanted to use the classes in your loading swf.
