Make sure you have the latest version of Quicktime as well as the latest drivers for your audio card, downloaded from the nVidia site.
The free Secunia program I recommend in the FAQs can ensure you have the latest drivers for your system.
You might also want to clean off your temp files and defrag your hard drive. This is particularly true if your computer is relatively new, since it's probably full of temp files from Windows self-installation.
You can use Windows tune-up tools to remove these junk files or you can use my favorite, free tune-up tool, Advanced System Care.
Maybe I wasn't clear. This is a new computer I built. This is what I do for a living. All the drivers are the newest, all the parts are the newest, all the software is the newest. All my other pgms run flawlessly. I just wonder if PE7 has an issue with the new 200 series NVIDIA cards or the drivers (yes I have the newest ones).
