I have 1-minute of video footage that I'd like to use as a screensaver that loops until I'm ready to press "play" on the DVD player and start the main video content that I want to show (an 8-minute informational video). How do I do this? I saw another discussion that said that the looping has to be set on the DVD player, but we currently do this at my working place with this DVD that was made a long time ago and I don't have any information on the company that produced it to go back and ask how they did it.
Thank you for any help,
What you're referring to is simply a menu. Any good authoring program will allow you to use any mpg as the background pic for your various menus. You should also be able to use background sound on the mpg as long as it's embedded as AC3 or mpg-audio. I don't know if Adobe's authoring program will let you do this or not since I don't use it.
Thanks, I posted my question in the Encore forum.
