    PVII Pop Menu Magic Help

    destind4film Level 1
      Looking for help from Al Sparber on this if possible.

      I have the Pop Menu Magic on a site and am trying to make some modifications to it but am getting strange results. In IE I noticed a strange problem where the submenu seems to jump out far away from the rest of the menu.

      I also am trying to make some minor change like having all submenus left justified instead of centered and make the columns smaller.

      Here is a link to see what I am working with:

      Thanks in advance.

            you should probably go to their support forums at forums.projectseven.com -
            great help can be found there.

              As Alan and Hunter say, your best bet is to got to the Project Seven
              forums...

              However, and this is without looking at your code, i suspect:

              1/ You have given a 'center' in the parent - the main links are centred. You
              need to correct that for the sub menus.

              2/ You have probably narrowed the sub menus, without compensating for that
              in the offset of the sub-sub menus.

              But as A & H say... the PVII forums are your best bet.

              Cheers...

                Hey guys,

                Thanks for the suggestions. Sorry for posting this in the Adobe Forum, but I had two reasons for doing so:

                1) I can not access the newgroup support system that PVII guys use from my work, we use Lotus here and IE is pretty much locked down. It is a miracle I can even come to the Adobe forums.
                2) I thought Al pops in here from time to time so I figured it was worth a shot.

                Thanks again.

                  This is causing the problem:
                  <tr align="center">

                  IE has a very odd way of handling the align attribute or the CSS text-align
                  property.

                  Remove the TR attribute.

                  Then, if you want to center the submenu items, use this rule:

                  #p7PMnav ul a {text-align: center;}

                  In the future, if you need us when you are at work, pop us a mail or call
                  us. It's probably quicker :-)
