If you could post a bit of your code, your OS, your SDK version someone could help you.
Sorry for the delay....
So i guess this is the interesting part....
the 'bug' (if it is one)... goes like this:
1) The OS affected seems to be all...
2) I'm using the latest version of Flex + Flex builder
3) this only happens to mx:button.. and theres nothing special.. its just <mx:button /> heres an actual button from the app
label="My Story " click="currentState='about'" width="100" height="25"
true" labelPlacement="top" styleName="navType" id="button5"/>
any specific questions?
The best thing is to boil this down to the smallest app that exhibits the problem. Post that please.
Well, thats the thing.. it is just one app - but is 468 lines.. you sure there isn't something more specific i can give you?
You've got to start hacking away at those 468 lines until you get to a minimal app that still exhibits the problem, then post that.
I remember a bug I ran into in Flex 2 with states.
The state bug did not happen all the time, only when the state changes got complex.
My solution was to set the currentState ='' and then to the currentState ='yourNewState'.
Not sure that bug is still there but you could try that.
ya, thats what i've been trying...... i dont quite it get it myself... for some reason you have to click once, then twice, on the third click the state change occurs.
Are you trying this:
If that doesnt work you definately need to trim that app down and post it.
Yes, if you remove that click code from the button and do click="Alert.show('click')", does the problem go away?
