    Adobe 9.1 won't install, Can't contact Support

      Hello, will someone please help me? I have Adobe 9.0 and need to install Adobe 9.1, I was told (by the university) if I don't install it my computer will be extremely vulnerable to viruses.


      I tried to contact support on this website, but each time I select my country and language and click "Continue" it does nothing except re-load the page. So I cannot contact Adobe Support.




      I have downloaded the 9.1 installer three times. Every timeI try to install it, I get to the point where it is "Publishing Product Information" and then this error happens:


      Error 1316. A network error occurred while attempting to read from file C:\Documents and Settings\HP_Owner\Local Settings\Application Data\Adobe\Reader 9.1\Setup Files\AdbeRdr910_en_US.msi


      Then the installation stops.



      I have Windows XP on an HP Pavilion a1101n.
