You will need to find out (from the people who did the work for you) exactly what format the file is in, otherwise we could be here till doomsday guessing.
You can try using GSpot to determine the info.
This is the info GSpot gave me.
qt : Apple QuickTime (>MOV/QT)
File Type: Quicktime (.MOV)
Mime Type: video/quicktime
Recommended Display Size: 1920x1080
My recommendation would be to have the transfer house provide DV AVI Type 2 files on hard drive or DV tape. If they can't do a good enough job, get your money back and use another transfer house.
Okay, you need to install Quicktime to allow PPro to read the file. I'm not sure about the "dvh5" codec, I hope that is something that Quicktime supplies or you will still have problems.
I already have quicktime on my pc but the file still isn't playing. I think I may have to get quicktime pro which might have the dvh5 codec.
