What can I do to stop Flash CS4 v.10.0 from constantly spinning that beach ball? It takes several seconds to insert a blank key frame, to drag an image from the library -- everything.
I'm running CS4 Premium Suite on a 2.4GHz Macbook Pro with 2GB RAM. OSX v.10.5.6
I've tried turning off every other app. Nothing fixes this.
I did not have this problem with Flash CS3.
delete all the unused items from your library and click file/save and compact.
Suggesting that extra files are hogging resources ignores the fact that I can save this in CS3, open it in CS3 and not have ANY of the delay issues.
Something is WRONG with CS4, not my files, not my computer.
In the bad--old-days, users could allocate memory for apps. This death by beachball really feels like a resources problem. Does Flash v.10 offer a way to set the amount of RAM it uses? Is there some "feature" I can turn off and thus free up resources?
then wait for an adobe fix, if one's coming.
