I'm new at AE but already love it. Because our approval process here is so cumbersome, I'm creating various short projects and exporting them to .mov sequences.
Then I am importing the sequences into a new project and using a logo fly-by to be the transition. So far, it's been working and here is what I have so far:
My question is - is there a better way to do this using AE than how I'm using it (importing ready-made.move sequences)? Do other professionals use AE this way?
Any advise or tips are appreciated.
Thanks - the Deaf Guy
The easiest way for you would be to have a composition for each "small project" into After Effects, and then, select them all and drag them on the new comp button on the Project panel to create a composition nesting them all.
You can get more info about nesting & precomposing here.
With this workflow, you can render individually all the small project for reviewing process, and render the full version as soon as everything is greenlighted by your boss/client without any work.
Thank you, Sebastian. I appreciate your reply and will read-up on this info.
