Hi. I am capturing using Premiere CS4 and everything is OK. I want to export low resolution video with original captured timecode intact. This way I can upload the smaller video for my partner to to make edit selections and send me an EDL or Premiere project file. However, when I export video, the timecode is reset to the timeline. I suppose we could work with that, but then I lose all reference to my tape footage. Is there any way to export video and keep the original captured timecode?

Not that I'm aware of.
You could use the timecode effect to make a window dub of the media timecode. Would that help?
Your best bet here is to copy all captured media to an external hard drive and send that to your editor. That way you both have identical clips to work with, and he can simply send you the project file, no need for an EDL.
