    Styling Scrollbars

    allanjard
      Hello all,

I'm currently building an AIR application with custom chrome, and I'm wondering if it is possible to change the base colours of the default scrollbars in AIR? I haven't been able to find a reference to how this might be done in CSS (or by Javascript if needs be).

      Many thanks,
      Allan

scrollbar coloring is an extension in IE as I know. It may not work in other browsers including AIR

Yes indeed - in the browser world scrollbar styling is an IE extension. However AIR isn't using OS originating widgets or the scrollbars in AIR would be the typical Aqua styling. So it seemed sensible to me that with a development kit which allows custom chrome, the scrollbars would also be stylable. I would be most surprised if this isn't the case - I just don't know how to do it.
