Hi. I'm a total n00b with Flash. All I am trying to do is put a few png images into a sequence and move them around a bit and make a QuickTime movie. I have the images in the timeline, I have the frame rate set to 29.97 in document properties, but every time I try to export to a mov, the framerate comes out at 30.30, despite setting it to 29.97 and trying several different codecs to compress with.
Can someone please tell me what the hell is going on here? It's driving me nuts!
You are able to set the quicktime export framerate as different from the Flash framerate. It should default to "same as Flash." Go into the Quicktime export properties (where you set the codec and what-not) and hardcode it to 29.97 there.
I did set the framerate in the QuickTime properties, and tried H.264, Animation, and DV/DVCPRO - NTSC for the codec, and still it always came out at 30.30FPS. I can't figure out why.
Does anyone have any further help for me on this? Any ideas why the QuickTime properties I hard set to 29.97FPS were not applied when I exported the movie?
