    save as/save a copy

I have an invoice I created where I can type information in Reader and save it.  I was wondering after I enter information in the blanks, will it allow me to save a copy and lock the file so no editing can be done to the invoice (don't want customers altering invoices)?  So basically I have a fillable template that I will use Reader to enter information, save a copy and send to customer, but the saved copy won't allow anyone else to change it.  Is this possible?  Any info would be great.

Not with Reader no. That would require using Acrobat.

Just a cautionary note, a Reader enabled form (one that Reader users can fil out and save) has a limit to the amount of times it can be used. If you pass those limits, it probably won't be  liability to you but it would be to the person that enabled the form in Acrobat.
