I know it can be done. I can't think of way to do it that's very smooth, however. For the application, the user is going to enter information that will be saved as a config file for a seperate Java application that is waiting for the file to be created (both on the same machine using AIR). Can anyone point me to a simple example?
The config it self is fairly big and I'll probably be using several viewstats to get all the information. Any help or advice is appricated!
Build up an XML object from your UI and then write with the AIR file wrigin APIs.
As Greg says.
But what are you asking for help with? User interface design? Or data handling? Or something else?
I just needed an example of how to write the xml out. I found one around the time I got out of work yesterday.
Once I found the actuall preferences.xml file I was good to go from there.
Thanks for th replies!
