I'm thinking about using adobe flex but I need to deploy the
applications on AIX. It would need to load AIX libs etc. to do some

load AIX libraries? Like Sujit said Flex runs client-side - that
sounds like saying you need Flex to load dlls or shared objects, it
never happens. =)
If you need to use some library APIs on the server you'd have
to call a service on the server and have that run serverside...
Java, .NET, etc. What you'd need to worry about is how Flex talks
to your server's service-- HTTP, AMF...
