    Help with Buttons

    hkpadobe Level 1

      I have a couple of questions to do with buttons and radiobuttons.

      Buttons: I have 2 buttons Copy and Cancel. I want to apply icons to each of them. Also the icons for the buttons will change when the user moves the mouse over them. What is the best way of tackling this? Any code would be appreciated.

      I have enclosed the .png files for reference. For the Copy Button the files are copy.png and copy_over.png for the mouseover.

      For the Cancel Button the files are cancel.png and cancel_over.png for the mouseover.

      RadioButtons: Currently when I try and click a radiobutton it's label text disappears when I move my mouse over the text. What is the best way to stop this occurring. I have tried setting the different property states in the Flex Design mode in FlexBuilder, but no luck.

      Any help appreciated. Thanks.

              hi,

                 you can apply style sheets for upskin downskin and etc

                      Button{
                      upSkin: Embed(source="up skin file");
                   overSkin: Embed(source="over skin file");
                   downSkin: Embed(source="down skin file");
                      }

              can you attach the screen shot for the radio buttons when label disappears ?

                Regarding the buttons I'll recommend you to create a CSS file and from

                there is very easy to style the several button's state. And the

                RadioButton behavior is pretty odd maybe an style is generating the

                odd behavior

                Sincerely,

                Michael

                    Michael, so I don't need to use the MouseEvent and create a Event Listener for the mouseover the buttons?
