If you have Adobe Audition you can try to open the files and see if they're supported.
If they are you can save them in a standard audio format.
If not then you are out of luck. This highlights the need for good backups.

You might get lucky, using Audition, or maybe not.
To Open in Audition, you will probably need to Open As, and then choose PCM.RAW. Once in the directory where the .CFA file(s) is, type *.cfa, to display the files. Select and choose Open. At the dialog box try 48KHz (what it should be), but it might well drop down to 44.1KHz. What you get *might* be usable. Look at the waveforms, before you play, or you might blow a speaker.
