Here's what we're doing. We currently have a PDF that has images that link to html files that contain an embedded video (.flv videos). We want to embed those videos into the PDF but we still want the person reading the PDF to be able to click the image to play the video. So you click the image and the image becomes a video player that starts playing the video. After the video finishes it goes back to being an image.
I don't want the video player to be showing before the image is clicked. Is this possible?
Very possible a number of different ways. What I would suggest is to take advantage of being able to embed Flash/Flex into a PDF, code your video player exactly as you want it in Flash or Flex (to display an image that when clicked starts the players, etc.) and then just embed that into the PDF using a RichMedia annotation.
