Is there any way to get the JS doc object of a PDF opened in a web browser?

As I reported in a previous posting, methods that previously worked in Acrobat 8 to get the JS doc object of a PDF opened in a web browser -- e.g. App.activeDocs using the JS object and AcroApp.GetAVDoc(index).GetPDDoc using OLE automation -- no longer work in Acrobat 9.  Therefore, in Acrobat 9, it's impossible to access a PDF opened in a browser or its annotations (unless, of course, the PDF is downloaded to the computer and opened through the NTFS, which kind of defeats the purpose).

Can someone in the know explain how to get the JS doc object of a PDF opened in a web browser?
