For no particularly good reason, I upgraded the Adobe reader today from 7.0 to 9.1 on a WinXP system. All functions work as advertised as far as I've tested them, but:
I really miss the toolbar display from version 7.0 (where "Save a copy" had a button of its own distinct from the diskette icon, etc.; while in 9.1 Save's function -- diskette icon again -- can't even be labelled via the Button Label set of options; etc.).
So -- is there a way to persuade 9.1 to use the old toolbar format? Or .. is there a way to reinstall 7.0 or 8.0 from Adobe itself?
Right clickon the toolbar area and choose "more tools".
You can add anything you want with that.
Thank you. For now it appears the only new unmodifiable change is the black background surrounding a page display.
