loading a .swf - assets issue

I've created a .swf (calendar widget) that uses a combobox.  The combobox is in the calendar .swf file.

When I load and show this from a test .swf, the combobox doesn't get created - just a textfield.

If I import the combobox component into the loading (test) .swf library, it gets created.

I'd rather have the .swf widget more standalone, if possible.  Is there a way to do this, so the caller doesn't have to import the component pieces into it's own library?  Maybe import the loaded.swf library, somehow?

      thanx,
