    Forum extension

    ploughman1 Level 1
I've been approached to 'bolt on' a football results section to one of my websites. It's basically results/crowds/scorers going back a number of years. Loads of data entry but I don't mind as it'll be worth it for the increased traffic to my site.
However...somebody has raised the idea of people clicking a result, having a "I was there and would like to comment on that game." type facility.
The answer is obviously (?) a mini forum. Is there an DW extension for this kind of thing?
Any suggestions appreciated, but I am NOT a back-end developer!

There isn't an extension, because a forum is more involved than that, but
there are a number of good scripts you can install, some free. They
generally don't require much programming knowledge, but they will take a
          little work on your part.

Does your host server support ASP? PHP? ColdFusion? That's the first
          question needing to be answered.

            To be used as forums?

When I read the original email I wondered where forums came in, the OP
just wants people to be able to leave comments on each page of
results/game, so a blog is perfect for this particular requirement.

People use the wrong terms all the time... In this case, I "deduced" that the software I linked would do what the OP wanted

PS - how many times have you read a question from someone who couldn't get their software to "download" from CD to computer when they put the CD in the drive... when they really meant that Autorun wasn't working, and they needed Install help?
