Hi, I am looking into the fesability of using Adobe Air to developer an offline web application, which syncs to a central server.
However, as this will be in a corporate environment we don't want the end user to be able to simply use winrar/winzip to open the .air package and reverse-engineer the application. Is there anyway of encrypting the package so that the user is unable to view the contents?
Obviously there are 3rd party solutions, but I was hoping there was a built in solution...
Thanks in advance,
Personally I think no matter how hard you try to obfuscate an app, that
won't never be enough. Just don't let any sensitive data in your AIR app,
secure your server, request credentials, use SSL, and so on.
