I have had my old home movies professionally put on DVDs. I opened "New Project" from the home page to upload them to the adobe software, premiere elements 7, which was successful. I have already uploaded and edited several of these DVDs. When I return to the home page to work again, I click on "Open Project" and choose the file I wish to open and work on. My goal is to consolidate the edited movies chronologically and reduce the time so they can viewed easily and contained on fewer DVD discs. However, in trying to find the best way to do this, I have seen references to making albums and I'm confused. I have looked extensively for tutorials for help but without success.
I want to know the best way to upload these DVD files so that I can edit and arrange in sequence before burning the new revised movie to a new DVD.Any help would be greatly appreciated.
The best way is probably to create a seperate project for each "mini-movie". Complete the editing and export each "mini-movie" as a DV-AVI... File>Export>Movie. Then bring all these into a final "master" project for compilation. Put them all on the timeline in the sequence that you wish, add DVD markers and menu and burn your DVD.
