    compiling charts in linux

    crankharder

      My dev environment is in linux so I downloaded the SDK and it worked for some basic apps until I tried to add a chart:

      Loading configuration file /usr/local/bin/flex_sdk_3/frameworks/flex-config.xml
      foo.mxml(23):  Error: Type was not found or was not a compile-time constant: LineChart.

            <mx:LineChart dataProvider="{testInfo}" id="testChart" showDataTips="true">

      I did a lot of digging around.  Lots of mentioning of FlexBuilder and some file named datavisualization.swc (which I dont seem to have).

      So.. how do I build charts in linux if I don't have the builder??  It doesn't make sense that I need the IDE installed in order to add additional libraries to the SDK.

      Thanks!
