I'm recording a sim in Assessment Simulation mode and the
next step is for the user to click the Save button. Sometimes
Captivate will depress the save button, then add a click box for
the action. When you test the movie, the Save button depresses and
then the movie stops, waiting for the learner to click the Save
button's click box.
Is there any solution for this short of manual recording?
Presently I snag a capture of the unpressed Save button and place
it over the Save button as an image box, bring the click box to
front and place it over the Save button.
Thanks for reading this and for any replies.
What if you simply pressed Print Screen to force a screen
capture of the button in the un-pressed state immediately before
clicking? Then if necessary, you could replace the incorrect slide
background with the correct one.
On the screen where you forced a screen capture before
clicking the button, right click the slide and select "Copy
Background". Then on the errant slide, right click the slide and
select "Paste as Background".
