One of our customers has a Flex2 application they have us
use. We seem to be having a lot of problems intermittent and
seemingly random channel / NetConnection call failures, and our
company has no Flex2 experience. According to them we’re the
only ones with these problems, and they’re not sure what it
could be. Are there any special firewall policies we need to open
up to let this work? Currently HTTP responses are about the only
thing allowed to “regular” office computers.
You need to ask then what kind of remoting services they're
using, becuse for instance amf uses an non standard port for its
comunication with any Flex App, your company most likely will need
to unlock a few ports.
Thank you. I know they're using AMF polling since it's
showing up in the firewall logs. We can save data for awhile, but
then get the HTTPConnection fail errors. (They have an error log
viewer built into the site.)
