Adobe JavaScript dialog box on Windows 2000 will not disable.

We tried to disable JavaScript as stated in Adobe PSIRT of May 1, 2009. However, after disabling JavaScript on my Windows 2000 professional desktop and Windows 2000 server the Adobe program continuously displays a dialog box “…Do you want to enable JavaScripts from now on?...”. How do we prevent the dialog box from displaying? Or how do we permanently disable JavaScript? Is there a registry or policy setting?
