Releasing PDF file opened with .NET WebBrowser control

Hello, I'm having issues opening a PDF file with the .NET WebBrowser control. When I .Navigate() to a pdf file, navigate to about:blank, dispose the webbrowser control then try to delete the pdf file I opened, it gives me an error message: "The process cannot access the file 'C:\blablah\test.pdf' because it is being used by another process." I've posted this question on an MSDN forum and the suggestion I got was to manually close the acroread32.exe process. I checked Task Manager and there isn't actually an acroread32.exe process. I've got Adobe Reader version 9 installed. Has anyone here encountered this problem before? If so what solutions (if any) did you find?
